Civil Servants in Rivers State have commended Governor Nyesom Ezenwo Wike for the regular payment of salaries since 2015.
The civil servants lauded Governor Wike for the Prompt payment of March 2020 salary as they stay at home to fight coronavirus.
Mrs Jecintha Amadi, a senior civil servant thanked Governor Wike for paying the March 2020 salary as workers stay to maintain social distancing.
Sunday Daniel, a nurse with the Rivers State Government said the Prompt payment of salary is one of the legacies of Governor Wike. He said that Rivers Civil Servants appreciate his commitment to their welfare.
Gregory Tamuno, a civil servant said that the payment of March salaries has energised the economy and helped to cushion the effect of sit-at-home.
