PLAY YOUR ROLE WELL: BANIGO URGES FATHERS

The Deputy Governor of Rivers State, Dr. (Mrs) Ipalibo Harry Banigo has re-echoed the need for fathers in the State to continue to play the fatherly role in their families.

Dr. Banigo reiterated this in her goodwill message from the Government House in Port Harcourt on Saturday 18th June 2022, to felicitate with all fathers in the State in commemoration of the year, 2022 Father’s Day Celebration.

According to the Deputy Governor, fathers must take deliberate steps to ensure that their children are given the right training and exposure to become useful to themselves and the society.

Dr. Banigo noted that children raised in dysfunctional family settings often turn out to become miscreants, adding that the Governor Nyesom Ezenwo Wike-led Administration’s commitment to ensure that Rivers Children get the best form of education is non-negotiable.

She wished Governor Wike and all fathers in the state a Happy Father’s Day Celebrations.

It would be recalled that the 3rd Sunday in June each year is set aside to celebrate Father’s Day.
