Her Excellency also employed a disabled female member of JONAPWD (Joint Association of Person with disabilities) on the 18th of August 2015 after they paid Her Excellency a courtesy visit.
Her Excellency ensured the employment of some widows in her office as casual staff to help empower them and their families in the earlier part of 2016
Her Excellency under the Initiative also partnered with the Association of Professional Women in Engineering (APWEN) in the month of July 2017 by providing electronic tabs and flash drives to participants of the Summer Camp for Girls. The camp was to expose mainly girls and boys of secondary school age to STEM (Science Technology, Engineering and Math) a lot of the students for the first time handled 3-D software to design while some had the opportunity of using the Computer for the first time. Those present were also shown how software can enable them perform math and technology-based tasks.
The Office of Her Excellency the Deputy Governor of Rivers State partnered with NLNG, Caywood Brown Foundation and PHCCIMA to launch a Volunteerism Program encouraging the Youths to use the route of Volunteerism to gain work experience and possibly employment. The pilot scheme started off in October 2017 and it was a six month program. 12 graduates were chosen after a rigorous selection process. At the end of the six months program, only 7 completed the program and 5 out of them were given full time employment.
Her Excellency in keeping to the promise she made when she attended the Annual Harvest and Thanksgiving Service at the Assemblies of God Church Rumudumaya in October 2017, promised to encourage and mentor 12 indigenous young girls interested in the Sciences. The mentorship program started officially on the 17th of February 2018. Her Excellency has since then paid school fees of these girls, several seminars and talks have been held on various topics to encourage the girls.
