Rivers State Deputy Governor, Dr. (Mrs) Ipalibo Harry Banigo says the developmental strides recorded by Governor Wike-led Administration would positively impact the fortunes of the PDP in the upcoming elections.
Dr. Banigo stated this during a meeting with critical Degema Local Government Area PDP stakeholders at the Government House in Port Harcourt on Tuesday, 10th January, 2023.
According to the Deputy Governor the State Chief Executive Nyesom Ezenwo Wike has carried out a lot of developmental projects across the Degema Local Government Area which has made the job of persuading the electorates to vote for candidates of the PDP very easy, adding that a lot of educational and people-oriented projects have been completed, the Stool of Bille has also been recognized, while the first phase of the Trans Kalabari Road which starts from Degema to connect the Central Group would soon be commissioned.
Introducing members of the Campaign Team, the PDP Chairman, Rivers West Senatorial District, Dr. Nname Robinson Ewor disclosed that the members were carefully selected to ensure that they go through the nooks and crannies of the L G A to make an impact and ensure total victory for the Party, in the Gubernatorial, National Assembly and State Assembly Polls.
In his response, the Chairman of the Campaign Team in Degema Local Government Area, Hon. Taribo Benson said right from the inception of the present democratic dispensation in 1999, Degema Local Government Area have always embraced the Peoples Democratic Party, adding that the upcoming General Election would not be an exception.
He expressed the commitment of his team to work for the collective victory of the party which he said they were pleased to do.
